Work Description: Total kitchen remodel. Gutted down to studs and rebuilt.

Comments: Bill came out of his typical work area to do our kitchen. We are about an hour and a half drive for him, but he came out every day and even worked weekends to ensure that our kitchen was completed before we had company due to arrive. Bill made this whole process as easy as it possibly could have been. He did great work and we could not be happier. he was so courteous and respectful of our home through the entire job. He hung plastic and used care in limiting the dust throughout the rest of our home during construction, was polite, and was a pleasure to deal with day in and out. When you have a contractor at your home every day for nearly a month, you really get to know that person, and we found him to be pleasant and kind even when dealing with the setbacks that arose. We would highly reccomend him for your home projects! Our kitchen is beautiful and will now be the backdrop for many happy family occasions!

Work Description: 2 bathrooms remodeled. one completely gutted down to studwork

Comments: Our bathroom was getting to the point of no longer being functionable. (original bathroom from when house was built in 1955). We called around and got several quotes, with time frames that were 4-6 months out. Then we found Bill. He came over right away, looked at both the main bath and the powder room, gave us a very reasonable price, and could start within the next two weeks. The powder room (3'X4') was done first. Bill removed everything down to the studs, including the the old laminate flooring. He put in new drywall, beautiful stone tile, all new fixtures, paint, etc. and was done within a week. He suggested wainscoting around the bath to add contrast and it worked out beautifully. The main bath (5 1/2 x 9') was also taken down to the studs, and when the shower wall was removed, we found water damage behind it. Bill replaced the studs in the wall that were damaged, removed the window, window frame and rebuilt it, put up new walls, fixtures, tile, etc. The tile work done is excellent. My husband specifically requested an intricate pattern throughout the wall and the shower. Bill worked with my husband to insure the pattern came out perfectly. The electrical work and plumbing work was completed by companies Bill recommended. Both were extremely professional and courteous. I would highly recommend Remarkable Renovations and Construction for any remodel job you have. Bill's professional, courteous, works with you on changes, and respects the fact that this is your home and you want the best job possible. He also gets points for having great patience with a 5 year old boy following him around asking questions constantly.
