The long-awaited renovations to the historic Rose Bowl stadium recently began, though negotiations over parts of the project are still underway. The 88-year-old arena will undergo a $160 million renovation, led by local Pasadena, California remodeling contractors, to improve the entrance and exits, add space to the seating areas and improve a number of the stadium’s facilities. The final remodeling of the Pasadena arena is aimed at increasing the overall visitor experience by adding restrooms, concession stands, a new video board, and additional safety features. Beyond the regular seating, the press box will also be renovated for some $40 million and cater to VIPs and high rollers.
