The Lemon Grove Middle School is finally getting its long-awaited makeover. The school, which has been closed since 2010, has recently begun renovations and will have Lemon Grove, California remodeling contractors install a new office and renovate the science labs and locker rooms. In addition, the main feature will be the construction of a new 13,000-square-foot library which will be jointly run by all of the county’s educational institutions. The total cost of the Lemon Grove school remodeling project will be over $10 million, with funding coming from Proposition W, a $28 million bond measure that voters approved in 2008 to modernize schools.
