A local Hilton Hotel is performing major renovations on its entire complex. Though hotel renovations are not too interesting, what makes this one unique is that the hotel is incorporating environmentally friendly features. San Francisco, California remodeling contractors will be installing products that reduce waste and energy usage, promote recycling and conserve water. There will be low-temperature dishwashers, low-flow toilets, a pillow-restoration system, a food digester to covert food into liquid and make less waste, and LED lighting. According to San Francisco remodeling pros, while green renovations are rising in popularity, few are this large. But they hope the green Hilton upgrade will help promote the idea of eco-friendly renovations.
